Thomas R. Lees, OD

Dr. Lees is a lifelong resident of the area. He graduated magna cum laude from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1985. Before founding Family Eye Care and Contact Lens Center in 1987, he worked with a local ophthalmologist. In 1993, he founded Prison Eye Care Services to provide eye care to the inmate population of Michigan. He is currently completing requirements to become a Fellow in the American Academy of Optometry. It's mission is to provide clinical excellence through completion of advanced training.

Lois

Hello, my name is Lois Elliott and I am the office manager at Family Eye Care and Contact Lens Center. Over the l6 yeas that I have worked with Dr. Lees I have had the pleasure of watching this practice grow from its humble beginning to the thriving practice that it is today. I pride myself in providing the same level of individual service, attention to detail, and patient relations that we provided as a smaller practice. My job is to ensure that all of your administrative needs are attended to such as billing, insurance, and scheduling. My objective is to ensure that you have the best possible experience and service. When I am away from work I enjoy camping, shopping, and have recently taken up golf. I have three grandchildren that I love to spend time with. I am a lifelong resident of Michigan and the local area. My staff and I look forward to ensuring that you have the best customer service possible while here and that we strive to maintain the level of excellence that has allowed us to continue to serve you. Becky

My name is Becky - I have worked for Dr. Lees since 2003. I enjoy my work and the people I work with. In my spare time, I work for my fiance' at his meat and produce market in Clinton Township. We have four grown children between us. I love relaxing at the beach and traveling.

Darlene

My name is Darlene. I am the Doctors assistant. I am married to my best friend Leo. We have two grown children Shane and Gabrielle. We also have two dogs - Betsy (chihuahua) and Maizey (German short hair pointer mix). My husband and I are looking forward to becoming grandparents in 2010 when each of our children become parents for the first time.

Kristen

My name is Kristen and I have been with Dr. Lees since January 2006. I had been in optics for over twelve years when my husband and I moved to Yale. I have two young girls that definitely keep my busy. I enjoy scrapbooking and reading when I can find the time. I thoroughly enjoy my job and feel very lucky to be a part of the Family Eye Care team. I look forward to helping you with your eyewear selection.

Denise

My name is Denise and I am the newest member of the Family Eye Care team. I came to Dr. Lees' office with almost ten years experience in the optical field. My husband and I have three daughters who keep us running between soccer games, pottery classes, and their social activities. When time does quiet down we both enjoy cooking together and catching up about our day.
